MY STORY
Hi, I’m Maria! I’m a writer, educator, and creator with a passion for helping others achieve their goals and bring their visions to life. Whether I’m mentoring students through college admissions, supporting graduate students and professors with grant writing and publishing, or helping small businesses craft effective marketing strategies, I thrive on empowering people to succeed.
With years of experience as a PhD student, journal editor, writing coach, and content creator, I’ve guided over 100 students into their dream schools, including top 25 universities, by helping them navigate the complexities of the Common App and craft essays that truly stand out. My expertise extends to assisting academics in securing funding and publishing their work, as well as working with businesses to refine their branding and marketing approaches.
When I’m not coaching or writing, you can find me immersed in my favorite projects—caring for my 500+ houseplants, enjoying life with my pets, or working on DIY and outdoor adventures. I’m also planning my upcoming wedding, blending my love for nature, creativity, and celebration into every detail.
